Post-operative compression stockings of the Comfort collection, 1st compression class, provide pressure at the level of the lower third of the lower leg of 18-21 mm Hg. Intended for the prevention of venous thromboembolic complications in hospital conditions. Hospital knitwear prevents the formation of thrombosis before, after and during surgery. If the risk of thrombus formation is too great, prevention is carried out by a combination of hospital knitwear with the use of drugs and other means (for example, physiotherapy).

Indications for use:

1. Childbirth and postpartum period (6 weeks).

2. Uncomplicated surgical interventions lasting up to 45 minutes (appendectomy, hernia removal, abortion, etc.).

3. Extended surgical interventions (gastrectomy, colectomy, extirpation of the uterus, etc.).

4. The patient's stay in the intensive care unit.

5. Prolonged immobility of the patient on bed rest (condition after strokes, heart attacks, burns, hip fractures and other injuries).

6. Adherence to bed rest for 4 days.

Contraindications:

Absolute:

- chronic obliterating diseases of the arteries of the lower extremities;< /p>

- decompensated cardiopulmonary failure;

- septic phlebitis, blue painful phlebitis;

Relative:

- acute infection of the skin and soft tissue tissues;

- hypersensitivity to the material of compression products;

- severe forms of diabetic polyneuropathy and angiopathy;

- chronic polyarthritis.
