To strengthen the fixation of preservation of the biomechanics of movement in the knee joint, the orthosis is reinforced with metal machines with monocentric hinges located on the side surfaces and two parallel belts with textile fasteners in the area of ​​the lower third of the thigh and the upper third of the leg. Thanks to its removable design, it is easy to put on, which allows you to use it in the treatment of patients with a large volume of the lower third of the thigh, as well as elderly patients. semi-rigid fixation of the knee joint, unloading of the capsular-ligamentous apparatus and stabilization of the patella. The presence of metal hinges allows only block movement (bending-extension) and excludes the possibility of overextension. Tightly fitting to the joint, metal hinges take part of the axial load, and the part is transferred to adjacent healthy areas. The orthosis is ideal for use on both legs at the same time.

Indications :

rehabilitation period after immobilization of the knee joint after injuries (including sports) and surgical interventions; after arthroscopy; rehabilitation period after uncomplicated fractures of the condyles of the tibia and femur, intercondylar elevation of the tibia; rehabilitation period after uncomplicated osteochondropathies: Osgood-Schlatter's disease, Koenig's disease; exacerbation of arthrosis of the knee joint; hemophilic hemarthroses, as a component of complex therapy, to prevent the development of hemophilic arthropathies; for unloading the knee joint in the presence of post-traumatic changes, arthrosis phenomena in the anamnesis; prevention of pathological positioning of the lower extremity with moderate valgus or varus deviation of the lower leg.

Contraindications :

the first three days of acute trauma; acute purulent inflammatory diseases; tumor diseases in the field of orthosis application.

individual intolerance of materials; diseases in which hyperthermia is contraindicated; skin diseases (in the field of orthosis application); in the event of physical discomfort or irritation, you should immediately consult a doctor about the possibility of further use of the orthosis.
