Corset for the lumbosacral spine LSO semi-rigid with metal ribs and additional tightenings is used when there is a need for strong fixation of the lumbosacral spine (Th12-S4), in case of diseases, after injuries and operations, as well as for stabilization of the ligamentous-articular apparatus, reducing the load, eliminating the imbalance of the paravertebral muscles in the lumbar region and normalizing the position of the vertebrae in case of dislocations.

The part of the corset that fits the back, made of multilayer material, ensures the stability of the location of 4 powerful simulated duralumin stiffeners. The front side parts of the corset are made of elastic fabric and serve as the main tie. In addition, the corset is reinforced with two additional elastic belts for enhanced fixation.

Four powerful simulated stiffeners, located along the lumbar spine to the sacrum, take part of the vertical load and transfer the part to adjacent healthy areas of the body. Tightening with a corset leads to an increase in intra-abdominal pressure and, through the diaphragm, to an increase in intrathoracic pressure, which together provides a high stabilizing effect, prevents the development of muscle tension, and allows to form the necessary curvature of the patient's vertebral column.

Indications for use:

Presence of multiple protrusions and/or herniations of intervertebral discs with moderate persistent pain syndrome, neurological complications, including lumbago, sciatica;
• Consequences of injuries and operations on the spine, moderate pain syndrome;
• Spondylitis of various etiology;
• Moderate displacement, instability, hypermobility of vertebrae, spondylolisthesis;
• Osteochondropathy, osteoporosis;
• Osteochondrosis, spondylosis, arthrosis of intervertebral joints.

Contraindications:

• Pregnancy;
• Incorrect hernias of the abdominal wall;
• Syndrome of portal hypertension;
• Diaphragmatic hernia.

People with sensitive skin should wear a corset over underwear that fits tightly to the body; If any physical discomfort or irritation occurs, you should immediately stop using the corset and consult a doctor about the possibility of its further use.
