Orthosis for the cervical spine (Shantz splint) is a soft-elastic fixator and is available for adults, children and newborns. Orthosis-2B, Orthosis-2D, Orthosis-2H is a polyurethane foam base, anatomically shaped, enclosed in a cover made of cotton knitted fabric. The structure of the material used in combination with the anatomical profile contributes to the correct symmetrical distribution of the load on the support points without compressing or injuring them. For fixation, on both sides of the orthosis, a textile fastener is sewn, which allows for a more precise fit of the product around the neck, an overlapping fastener is allowed. The size is selected individually according to the height and girth of the neck.

The polyurethane foam base of the orthosis is made of highly elastic polyurethane of the leading global companies: "Shell", "Bayer", "Basf", "Goldschmidt", which has high elasticity and the ability to restore its original form after a long statistical load. The technical parameters meet the international requirements for products of this type.

Indications for use:

Injuries of the cervical spine (clogged places, subluxations);

Rehabilitation period after immobilization with a plaster bandage or use of a head restraint of the Philadelphia type;

Osteochondrosis of the cervical spine, including those complicated by syndromes of the vertebral artery, anterior scalene muscle, shoulder-scapular periarthritis, shoulder-hand syndrome, cardiogenic syndrome ("cervical angina");

Dizziness, visual disturbances, including glaucoma;

Instability in the cervical spine;

Concussion, rehabilitation period after craniocerebral injuries, in order to improve blood circulation; reducing the risk of developing complications;

Complex treatment of torticollis;

Cervical myositis, hyperkinesis;

Complex treatment of osteochondropathies and cervical dysplasias;

Osteoporosis of mild severity;

Spondylitis with minor destruction of any etiology (oncological, tubercular, osteomyelitis, etc.).

Contraindications:

Individual intolerance of orthosis materials for the cervical region;

Acute skin diseases in the field of application of the product;

Open wounds in the field of application of the product. .

Warning:

In cases of purulent diseases and/or skin diseases in the area of ​​application of the orthosis, a doctor's consultation is necessary;

People with sensitive skin should wear an orthosis over tight-fitting underwear;

In the event of any physical discomfort or irritation, you should immediately stop using the orthosis and consult your doctor about the possibility of its further use.
