Tutor provides rigid external fixation of the knee joint in the position of extension from the middle third of the thigh to the middle third of the lower leg, which excludes the possibility of movements in the knee joint. Creates an optimal temperature regime in the joint area, without hindering the breathing of the skin.

Timely use of the tutor prevents the development of flexion contractures of the knee joint, which contributes to the restoration of the physiological axis of the limb. It shortens the period of wearing a plaster cast and ensures an earlier start of rehabilitation. The knee brace is intended for full or partial immobilization of the knee joint and provides lateral stabilization of the joint. Wearing a brace helps to reduce swelling and improve blood supply to the soft tissues adjacent to the joint.

It is used as a convenient alternative to a plaster cast after operations on the menisci or the knee joint. Tutor ensures reliable fixation of the knee. Compared to plaster, it is much easier and more convenient to use, it can be easily removed and put on to monitor the progress of rehabilitation or perform hygienic procedures. The material from which the tutor is made does not irritate the skin, so it can be worn for a long time without feeling discomfort.
